Ich verstehe die US-amerikanische Waffen-Obsession nicht. Dort werden jährlich mehr Menschen "inner-us-amerikanisch" durch freien Waffenbesitz getötet als durch den vielbeschworenen und viel-Anlaß-gebenden internationalen Terrorismus,

Mir ist schon mehrfach aufgefallen, dass viele Strickerinnen sich nichts dabei denken oder es normal finden, uniform-ähnliche Klamotten zu stricken, Kinderkleidung mit Tarnfarben und anderes, oder Spielzeug-Panzer. Allein diese Suche bringt Erschreckendes ... 357 Treffer... sogar ein "Newborn Army Outfit" ...
wäre mal interessant die Herkunftsländer dieser Designer zu untersuchen. Ich könnte wetten..
Und nun diese gestrickte Bombe bei Ravelry..
Erstaunlich ist, welche Begründung ich dann auf mein geäußertes Befremden zu lesen bekam, "eine F-Bombe zu werfen" sei eine Umschreibung für "f...k".
Sie sind zu "pc" um das Wort "FUCK" auszuschreiben, aber sie haben keine Hemmungen Bomben zu stricken,
Mich stößt diese Waffen- und auch Kriegs-Besessenheit ab.

Danke! Endlich jemand der auch “komisch” berührt ist über diese Sorglosigkeit gegenüber der “Vermilitarisierung” besonders bei Kleidung für Jungs. Das hat mit Weicheiern nichts zu tun, nur sind sich viele Menschen nicht mehr darüber im Klaren, welches Leid durch Kriege geschieht.
I totally agree that it is not appropriate to be making military style clothing for babies. There are extremists in most countries, not only the U.S., and this is an example of it. We also have Neo-Nazis, religious fanatics, survivalists and cults, but they are not the majority. Unfortunately the negatives of a society can be blown out of proportion and the good overlooked. If there is something on Ravelry or another website someone does not like, just move on to another site. Fortunately we have the choice to do so. Good does overcome bad. I think we must look for the best in people. What we do with our craft is good for all.

I believe what you say and I know that not everybody is like that, but do a Ravelry Search for “army” and you find hundreds of patterns.
I always check in Ravelry for new patterns and because of this I see these patterns…
and when I check the location of the “designers” they are US-Americans (90% at least..)
And that was what intrigued me…
All my life I try to argue for peace and disarmement, and for some people it seems to be natural to knit army clothings for babies… I am horrified by this
